The Process
Booking your first consultation
Your first consultation is a FREE 15-minute call – either via telephone or Zoom – where I can gain an understanding of your situation and what you’re hoping to get from sessions. Most importantly, it’s an opportunity for you to ask any questions and get a feel for whether you’d like to work with me.

Initial consultation
Should you choose to work with me, a 90-minute initial consultation can then be booked. This session can be held in-person or online via Zoom. An initial consultation is for me to obtain further details of why you have come to see me and to fully establish the nature of the presenting problem. We can then agree goals, set expectations and devise a trajectory for our subsequent sessions. Depending on the problem, this session could also include an introduction to hypnosis; so you can get used to the process.
Subsequent sessions
Typically, clients have 4-6 subsequent sessions. These are between 60-90 minutes long, depending on your preference and the work we are doing together. Where possible, it is preferable for sessions to take place at regular intervals until completion – typically one week apart. The scheduling of sessions, however; can be flexible and designed to fit in with your schedule.
In between sessions, I sometimes recommend tasks for you to complete to aid the process of your improvement. Great strides in development can be made by completing these tasks, and it’s important that the topics we discuss and work on are put into practice between sessions.
Cancellations
I understand that unexpected things happen, but I do ask that, if you need to cancel or re-schedule a session, you provide at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged the full session rate.
Payment
Payment is due before or at each session. I accept cash, bank transfer or credit/debit cards.
Code of ethics
I adhere to the code of ethics set down by the GHR (General Hypnotherapy Register), the American Board of Hypnotherapy and NLP of which I am a member.
Confidentiality
My services are completely confidential*, which means I will never share anything you have discussed with another party, unless you give me permission to do so.
(*with a few legal exceptions, mainly relating to risk of harm).
